Daniel D. Robert "Dan" Phillips Daniel D. Robert Phillips  was the son of Mitchell Phillips and Rebecca Herron.  He was born 24 March 1889 near Hilham, Overton County, Tennessee.  He died 22 April 1976 in Cookeville, Putnam County, Tennessee.  He is buried at Cooke Cemetery, in Putnam County, Tennessee. He married Adell Montgomery,  the daughter of Harrison Montgomery and Lou Talent, on 16 April 1914.  She was born 29 January 1899 Gallatin, Sumner County, Tennessee.  She died 11 February 1976 in Baxter, Putnam County, Tennessee.  She is buried at Cooke Cemetery, in Putnam County, Tennessee.
